Cancun, Mexico - Fish the Big Time

For the ultimate vacations for the outdoor enthusiast Power boating, Jet-skiing, Snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs in the world, teaming with aquatic life, the pampering, the food, the scenery, the night life and the fabulous fishing.  Cancun has it all the warm sun, the gorgeous beaches, great hotels. The  fishing is unsurpassed and the crews on the boats at the Mundo Marina really know their job and how to put you on top of the action, with the average day being four to seven sailfish hookups, twenty to thirty Bonita, maybe a Mahi Mahi or two in the thirty to fifty pound class, a few barracuda thrown in of the ten to sixty pound range, not to mention the Tuna, Wahoo, Snapper, the Yellow Tail, the Grouper which by the way they will clean for you and most of the hotels and restaurants will be happy to cook into a gourmet meal for you.

Talk about living, there are no deadlines, the crew leaves when you’re ready.

Have a great breakfast at your hotel, and lunch don’t even worry about it, Its part of the trip as are the Soft Drinks, Beer, Bottled water and Pop!  All inclusive as is most everything in Cancun!  Look at the pictures and you will see what we mean (Like Cindy when she's not catching a big one she’s relaxing enjoying the sun and the ocean breeze or having a cool drink!)

Even the ladies can join the action and multiple hookups are common

The action generally is fast and furious with an average of 20 to 30 Bonita's a day in the 5 to 20 pound range  (sharks thrown in just in case you want a real fight)

Barracuda in the 10 to 50 pound range,  Dolphin in the 20 to 50 pound range are common

No matter what the challenge, the crew is always prepared ready to work for you!  (Teaching you to set the hook or fighting techniques).

Whether getting your food, drinks, or just keeping the bait they're always on top of things including cleaning and packaging your catches or perhaps you would rather eat some of your fresh catch?  Most of the local restaurants and even your hotel would gladly prepare a gourmet meal from your days excitement.  Want to have fun in the sun on your next vacation, why don't you try Cancun?  You won't regret it.

We fish up to 5 lines on all boats (weather permitting). We use mostly Penn International reels on custom made rods in ranges from 12lb, 20lb and 30lb class for most of local species.

We try to use most of the up to date techniques and tackle available, and we put our 100% effort in producing fish for the customers.

All of the charters include local permits, taxes and expenses except “tips” which are “optional” but highly appreciated.

About the fish:

We work on a most fish released basis. However if a good edible fish comes along we do not mind to bring it home and clean it at no cost.

We no longer bring fish to the dock to take home, we have had several customers inform us  that U.S. customs is skeptical about bringing fish in even if it is frozen, and the fish end up wasted. We would like to keep the fishery healthy for our upcoming population of young anglers. (So no fish take outs).
