The arid region surrounding Lake Guerrero is the convergence of several major North American migratory flyways.  The lake is a magnet for waterfowl by the thousands.  Duck-shooting is as good as it gets.  The surrounding countryside holds some of the largest concentrations of purely wild bobwhite quail anywhere.  One sports writer called them "the wildest, fastest quail he has ever seen!"  Custom-made hunting vehicles, superb Pointers and Retrievers, English speaking guides - everything is first class at Hacienda Las Palmas.  Whitewing-shooting is nothing short of spectacular.  Thousands of acres of sunflower, corn, and sorghum are close to the lodge.  Extensive pre-hunt scouting minimizes driving time to the shooting areas.
