GENERAL INFORMATION:
Everything you need to know for your hunting vacation in Argentina.
DOCUMENTATION:
Hunters must bring their passports and the Temporal Import of Guns
Form that will be provided by SAFARIS Y CACERIAS.
GUNS AND AMMUNITION:
12 or 20 Ga. Semi-automatic shotguns are recommended.
SAFARIS Y CACERIAS will provide you with prime quality ammunition for
12 or 20 Ga. or any other caliber ordered previously.
GUN RENTAL:
Although we recommend hunters to bring their own guns, we can rent
them at very economical prices.
CLIMATE AND CLOTHING:
The climate in March, April and May is moderate, with temperatures
ranging between 59˚F and 89˚F. Light garments for the day and
warmer clothes for mornings and evenings are recommended. In
June, July and August, the climate can be quite cool with temperatures
ranging between 32˚F and 66˚F. Therefore warm garments are
suggested. For all seasons, we especially recommend raincoats,
waterproof boots and camouflage clothing. For duck shooting,
waders are required. For pigeon and dove hunting we recommend
you to bring safety glasses, shoulder pad and ear plugs.
LODGING:
Besides EL CORTIJO, we also have other first class lodges, all
with a warm friendly atmosphere. The electric power is 220 V and
all bedrooms have their own private bathroom.
MEDICAL INFORMATION:
No vaccinations are required to travel to Argentina.
MEALS:
SAFARIS Y CACERIAS offers Continental breakfast and also abundant
and delicious meals. In which you will enjoy the famous
Argentinean "Asados" (barbecue) and you will taste the finest
Argentinean wines, the most distinguished of which is "Malbec".
TIPS:
Although tips are not compulsory, we recommend USD 25 tips per day
for bird boys and the rest of the staff (cook, water, cleaning
service, and translator) |
